Miss America 2011

Very beautiful Teresa Scanlan won the title of Miss America 2011 at Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The 17-year-old from Gering, Nebraska beat more than 53 talented women across the United States for The 90th annual Miss America Pageant.

Miss Nebraska, Teresa Scanlan has made history by winning this title as she is the youngest winner ever in the pageant’s history. She received a luxury crown and sash from Miss America 2010, Caressa Cameron.

Miss America 2011, Teresa Scanlan who is a graduate from Scottsbluff High School, won a $50,000 scholarship. According to Miss America website, this teen beauty wants to attend law school and become a judge and eventually a politician.

First runner-up at the event was Miss Arkansas Alyse Eady who earned a $25,000 scholarship and second runner-up Miss Hawaii Jalee Fuselier won a $20,000 scholarship.
